Elbow Cay and Calypso versus Hurricanes Frances and Jeanne

Damage from Frances and Jeanne was relatively minor and not as severe as Floyd in 1999. No homes on Elbow Cay were lost or severely damaged. Many of the palm trees lost most of their fronds and a great deal of sand and debris was blown into the yards and onto the roads near the ocean front homes. Many docks were damaged in the harbour and on the sound side.

All repairs were completed, and many improvements made, by the 2005 rental season.
